YOUTH LEADERS ROUNTABLE HELD IN MOSS VALE

High school students from the Southern Highlands have today attended a Youth Leaders Roundtable at the Moss Vale Civic Centre, hosted by Member for Whitlam Stephen Jones.

 

The Whitlam Youth Roundtable, held annually since 2010 provides an opportunity for local youth to engage with one another and their local Federal MP.

 

Schools represented by years 9 to 11 students included:

 

  • Oxley College.
  • St Paul’s International College.
  • Bowral High School.
  • Chevalier College.
  • Southern Highlands Christian School.
  • Moss Vale High School.

 

At the forum, students discussed mental health, education, climate change, leadership skills and the Voice to Parliament Referendum.

 

After the roundtable, the Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services will then share student ideas in Parliament. This will provide a platform for local voices to be heard by the likes of the Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese.
