SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY GRANTS NOW OPEN

Community groups and schools are encouraged to apply for a number of Grants that are now open.  Information about these Grants can be found on the Australian Government's website at the Community Grants Hub

Community Resilience Grants - close 23 August - provide funding between $20,000 and $150,000 per year for up to three and a quarter years with funding available from 1 April 2018 to 30 June 2021 for one-off, time limited projects that that build social cohesion like a forum, training, a festival or improving skills and looking for work experience.  Click here for more information.

Inclusive Communities Grants - close 23 August - provide funding of up to $7,500 for one-off, time limited project that support the social and economic participation of people in those communities like a forum or festival. Click here for more information.

Digital Literacy School Grants - close 11 August - provide funding of between $10,000 and $50,000 to projects that demonstrate innovative methods for driving enhanced digital literacy in schools.  This funding can be used to purchase equipment to support the teaching and learning of digital technologies.  More information on this grant can be found here.
